Dr Andrew Small is an experienced and established General and Interventional Cardiologist and Dr Stanton is an experienced General and Imaging Cardiologist.
As your Cardiologists within Premier Cardiology they strive to provide a comprehensive patient-focused cardiology service at the Wesley Hospital and the co-located Medical Suite within the Sandford Jackson Building.
The medical suite offers state of the art cardiac testing facilities. Outpatient cardiac tests such Echocardiograms, Exercise Stress Echo’s, and Exercise Stress Tests are undertaken by experienced Cardiac Sonographers and reviewed by Dr Small or Dr Stanton. We pride ourselves in providing comprehensive, accurate and thorough cardiac testing reports to our referrers in a timely fashion.
Other cardiac investigations such as ECG’s, Holter monitors, Event monitoring and ambulatory Blood Pressure testing are also available.
Medical consults and cardiac testing may be available on the same day (if applicable and appointments allow) – ensuring a timely streamlined service to our patients.
Premier Cardiology has a small team of experienced, friendly staff who understand the often complex requirements of cardiac patients and are able to assist you with bookings and cardiac tests.

Premier Cardiology offers outpatient consultations and in-hospital care at the Wesley Hospital in Auchenflower, Brisbane.
We also offer cardiac testing at the Wesley Hospital which includes:
- Echocardiogram
- Holter Monitoring
- Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring
- Resting ECG
- Exercise Stress Test (EST)
- Exercise Stress Echo (ESE)
- Event Monitoring
These tests attract a fee with a small out of pocket expense after Medicare is claimed.

Updates
1. The rooms will be closed from 12pm Wednesday 24 Dec 2025 – Mon 5 January 2026 inclusive. We will reopen on Tuesday 6th January 2026. Please email reception@premiercardiology.com.au with any enquiries and we’ll do our best to get in touch with you once we are back in the New Year.
2. For urgent medical queries please see your GP or present to your nearest Emergency Centre.
3. We are undergoing renovations and expanding. Hopefully by 6 January the renovations will be complete. Our main door will be little further down the corridor. and our current door will no longer work. We look forward to seeing you in our new improved rooms.
4. Dr Jonathan Sen Cardiologist will be joining the Premier Cardiology team in January 2026 as an Independent Practitioner.
